Why we should buy books online?

The global book market is shifting to the cyber space day by day and same applies for our Indian market.

But one question which occasionally comes to our mind is why? Why should we buy books online, instead of buying it from shops after reading preface, flipping through few of its pages and getting its feel before paying for it.

Before answering why we should buy books online, I would love to discuss a very common phenomena which most of us share. Think about a situation when get you get up with the motivation that you should eat green vegetables and rush to the nearby vegetable seller, but you don’t get green vegetables there, you end up buying potatoes!

In another condition, you have not thought of eating green vegetables but were tempted to buy when you saw great stuff at your nearby store.

Now, you must be thinking, what crap is this? What relation does vegetables have with buying books online?

It’s not the vegetables, but it was the positive affect of easy availability, which I was discussing. And why eating vegetables in the example, it’s because like reading books, eating vegetables is also considered good, if I would have told that after seeing a lot of shirts you purchased one, even when you did not needed, that would have been compulsive buying and its not a good thing, but I hope that it is a good thing, if you buy books online after coming across them at an online bookstore.

Now, coming to the point. In an online bookstore there are millions of books, then they are easily available and most importantly even those who are too, lazy to step out and buy books from a local store, can buy books online.

Thus, go ahead, buy books online and read a lot. LOL
